    I have found my island.
Going to anchor at the coast nearby.
Waiting for the island to let me in.
From afar, I will admire the island and dream of my future.
I have learnt how to swim in the big blue sea.

    OPEN THE DOOR

Nothing in this world is everlasting
No one in this world is perfectly pure
No promise on this earth is unbroken
No sheep in this world is never astray

There is a time for all things
    For all seasons
    For all weathers
But is there a time for Him?
    Too?

Do you know how much He yearns to talk to you?
Have you realise that He's been knocking at your doors?
But you seem to be deaf,
You did not open the door for Him

Do you know how He feels?
    His heart was broken
    It's like the second crucifixion
    Do you know that?

    My friends,
    What are you waiting for?
Open the door of your heart now!

    For Him...
    Who is always waiting outside...

    FOR WHOSE SAKE?

    God created us
    For love's sake

    He sent His Son
    For love's sake

    Jesus came to save
    For love's sake

    Christ forgave
    For love's sake

    He died for sinners
    For love's sake

    He resurrected
    For love's sake

And now it's my turn to repay
now it's my turn to proclaim
For I've got this new life in Jesus
    New identity
    New master
    New friend

    I'll live by faith
    And not by sight

    I'll walk in His light
    And by God's delight

    I'll share His words
    And make disciples

    I'll live for God
    And pursue eternity

    For Christ's sake...

    FRIENDS

Friends enhanced your life by colouring it
They walk life's journey with you
    They share your joy
As well as the dark part

    They do not despise you
    They will not deny you
They will be by your side
    Forever

But who is really your true friend?
Who would really share your pain?
It takes luck and fate for a true friend
Sometimes you just need to walk the extra mile
Sometimes they just appear in front of you

Who then? Is a friend that's true?
Who would remain faithful till the end?
    I can't say I am one
    But I know one

    Maybe you do too...

    His name is Jesus

    BY FAITH

    By Faith,
I was brought into this world

    By Faith,
    I met Jesus

    By Faith,
    I experienced the Second Birth

    By Faith,
    He became my best friend

    By Faith,
    He brought me home

    By Faith,
    He died for me

    By Faith,
    My sins cleansed

    By Faith,
    I regained Freedom

    By Faith,
    I acknowledged Him

    By Faith,
I became a child of God

    By Faith,
    I can see the Light

    By Faith,
    I have Eternal life

    By Faith,
    I was saved...

    Through Faith.

    BY FAITH (BIBLICAL VERSION)

    Now faith is being sure
    of what we hope for
    and certain of what
    we do not see.
    This is what the ancients
    were commended for.

    By faith
we understand that the universe was formed at God's command,
so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

    By faith
Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did.

    By faith
he was commended as a righteous man,
when God spoke well of his offerings.

    And by faith
    he still speaks,
    even though he is dead.

    By faith
Enoch was taken from this life,
    so that he did not experience death;
    he could not be found,
because God had taken him away.
    For before he was taken,
he was commended as one who pleased God.

    And without faith
it is impossible to please God,
because anyone who comes to him
    must believe that he exists
    and that he rewards those
    who earnestly seek him.

    By faith Noah,
when warned about things not yet seen,
in holy fear built an ark to save his family.

    By his faith he
    condemned the world
and became heir of the righteousness
    that comes by faith.

    By faith Abraham,
when called to go to a place
he would later receive as his inheritance,
    obeyed and went,
even though he did not know
    where he was going.

    By faith
    he made his home
    in the promised land
    like a stranger in a foreign country;
    he lived in tents,
    as did Isaac and Jacob,
who were heirs with him of the same promise.
    For he was looking forward
    to the city with foundations,
    whose architect and builder
    is God.

    By faith Abraham,
even though he was past age
    --and Sarah herself was barren
--was enabled to become a father
    because he considered him
faithful who had made the promise.

And so from this one man,
and he as good as dead,
    came descendants as numerous
as the stars in the sky
    and as countless
as the sand on the seashore.

    All these people
were still living by faith when they died.
    They did not receive the things promised;
they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. A
nd they admitted that they were
    aliens and strangers on earth.

    People who say such things
    show that they are looking
    for a country
    of their own.

    If they had been thinking
of the country they had left,
they would have had opportunity to return.

    Instead,
    they were longing
    for a better country
    --a heavenly one.
    Therefore God is not ashamed
    to be called their God,
for he has prepared a city for them.

    By faith Abraham,
    when God tested him,
    offered Isaac as a sacrifice.
    He who had received
the promises was about to sacrifice
    his one and only son,
even though God had said to him,
"It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned."
    Abraham reasoned
that God could raise the dead,
    and figuratively speaking,
he did receive Isaac back from death.

    By faith
    Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau
    in regard to their future.

    By faith Jacob,
    when he was dying,
    blessed each of Joseph's sons,
    and worshiped as he leaned
on the top of his staff.

    By faith Joseph,
    when his end was near,
spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt
and gave instructions about his bones.

    By faith
Moses' parents hid him for three months
    after he was born,
    because they saw
    he was no ordinary child,
    and they were not afraid
    of the king's edict.

    By faith Moses,
    when he had grown up,
    refused to be known
as the son of Pharaoh's daughter.
    He chose to be mistreated
along with the people of God
    rather than to enjoy
the pleasures of sin for a short time.
    He regarded disgrace
    for the sake of Christ
    as of greater value
    than the treasures of Egypt,
because he was looking ahead to his reward.

    By faith
    he left Egypt,
    not fearing the king's anger;
    he persevered
because he saw him who is invisible.

    By faith
    he kept the Passover
    and the sprinkling of blood,
so that the destroyer of the firstborn
would not touch the firstborn of Israel.

    By faith
the people passed through the Red Sea
    as on dry land;
but when the Egyptians tried to do so,
    they were drowned.

    By faith
    the walls of Jericho fell,
after the people had marched around them
    for seven days.

    By faith
    the prostitute Rahab,
    because she welcomed the spies,
was not killed with those who were disobedient.

And what more shall I say?
I do not have time to tell about Gideon,
    Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel
    and the prophets,

    who through faith conquered kingdoms,
    administered justice,
    and gained what was promised;
who shut the mouths of lions,
quenched the fury of the flames, a
    nd escaped the edge of the sword;
    whose weakness was turned to strength;
and who became powerful in battle
    and routed foreign armies.
    Women received back their dead,
    raised to life again.
    Others were tortured
    and refused to be released,
    so that they might gain
    a better resurrection.

    Some faced jeers and flogging,
    while still others were chained
    and put in prison.
    They were stoned;
    they were sawed in two;
    they were put to death
    by the sword.

    They went about in sheepskins
    and goatskins, destitute, persecuted
    and mistreated--
the world was not worthy of them.
    They wandered in deserts
    and mountains,
    and in caves
    and holes in the ground.

These were all commended for their faith,
    yet none of them received
    what had been promised.
God had planned something better for us
so that only together with us
    would they be made perfect.

    JESUS LOVER OF MY SOUL

    It's all about You, Jesus
And all this is for You
For Your glory and your fame
    It's not about me
As if You should do things my way
    You alone are God
And I surrender to your ways

    Jesus, lover of my soul
All consuming fire is in Your gaze
Jesus, I want you to know
I will follow you all my days
For no one else in history is like you
And history itself belongs to you
Alpha and Omega, You have loved me
And I will share eternity with You

    It's all about You, Jesus
And all this is for You
For Your glory and your fame
    It's not about me
As if You should do things my way

I am currently having a mixed feeling, not knowing what am I doing or what am I going to do. My future is like a mystery. There are too much things for me to worry about. I am doing things out of my norms. I do not know why. My instinct has changed. Why? I really need someone whom I can trust and pour out my feelings. Who is that someone then? I am still searching. Searching among the many hundreds and thousands people out there.

It rained the whole day today. Since noon till now. Stucked in school from 12pm till 2 plus before making to decision to walk in the rain to the mrt station - I took a bus there anyway. Missed an SMS asking me to go for movie. Missed my lunch. This rain has indeed caused many things. Hope that it won't be like this tomorrow. I shall have faith in the future to come.

    RAIN

The dark clouds filled the sky
    It's no longer bright
    Soon the lightning struck mercilessly
    And rain started to pour

As the droplets fell on me
    I felt a cleansing flow
    My sorrows were being washed
Cleansed by the water from above

It was like the blood of Christ
    The blood that washed mankind
The blood that removed all sins
    The blood that gives Freedom

    It warmth my soul
    It melted my hardened heart
It caused me to see again
I see the light - in the darkness

    He is Christ
    The King
    My Lord
    Our Master

    Thank You
    For the unexpected rain.

    I MOVED

    My mind's blocked
    My heart's locked
    My vision lost
    My life's a null

    What am I?
    Who am I?
    Where was I from?
    Where am I going?

I have no aim in life.
    No purpose in living.
No future to look forward to.
    No God in sight.

    God! Where are You?
    I can't see You!
    I can't hear You!
    The distance between us grew

    Come back!
    Hey!
    Don't You love me anymore?
    Why?

I fell down after hitting against a rock.
    Then I realised that...
I was the one moving away...

    Not Him.

    TEENAGER

    Teenager, Teenager,
are you getting out of life what you ought?
Do the pleasures that you find,
    satisfy your peace of mind,
Or are you just as wanting as before you sought?

For a thrill, a matchless thrill,
Turn to one who climbed a hill.
Where He died a death for sin,
    He never sinned.
Give your life to Christ today,
He will guide you on your way.
And that, teenager, is a thrill that never ends

    Teenager, Teenager,
Do the hours you spend each day count for God?
For each hour you waste away,
    you will answer for someday.
But for each hour you spend for God, He will reward.

    WILL YOU

They were broken again and again
I lied to You again and again
I feel like losing Your Trust
    You've given me chances
But I did not cherish them
    I took them for granted

    But Lord,
I am willing to repent now
    I am willing to change
Will You believe me once more?
    Will You me again?

    Grant me
    Wisdom in every decision
    Ability to examine myself
    Strength to resist temptations
    Courage to move on

    Dear Lord,
    I am sorry.
    Forgive me, will You?

    Believe me once again,
That I will not break my vow again
    I will glorify You,
    Exalt You
    Exhort You

    In everything I do.

    WHEN GOD RAN

    Almighty God,
    the great I am
    Immovable rock,
    omnipotent,
    powerful,
    awesome Lord
    Victorious Warrior,
    commanding King of Kings
    Mighty Conqueror,
    and the only time
The only time I ever saw Him run

Was when He ran to me,
He took me in His arms
held my head to His chest,
said "my son's come home again"
    lifted at my face,
wiped the tears from my eyes
    with forgiveness in His voice
he said "son, do you know I still love you?"
    He caught me by surprise,
    brought me to my knees
    when God ran

    the day I left home,
I knew I had broken His heart
I wondered then if things could ever be the same
    then one night,
I remembered His love for me
and down that dusty road ahead I could see
    and the only time,
the only time I ever saw Him run

Was when He ran to me,
He took me in His arms
held my head to His chest,
said "my son's come home again"
    lifted at my face,
wiped the tears from my eyes
    with forgiveness in His voice
he said "son, do you know I still love you?"
    He caught me by surprise,
    brought me to my knees
    when God ran

I feel like I am the child in this song, I left Him once, but I managed to find Him again. It was by His grace and not by my own ability. To those lost ones out there, an advice for you, "It's never too late to return to Him, He is alway there saying 'come, come, come home to me my child. I still love you'..." Hallelujah!
